Our terms
This is the agreement between DutchCalendar and the businesses that use it. We keep it as short and clear as we can.
Version of 26-10-2026.
This is a translation of our Dutch terms. If the two differ, the Dutch text applies.
1. Who we are
DutchCalendar is a trade name of Tristan de Lange (Leeuwarden). You can reach us at info@dutchcalendar.com.
These terms apply when you use DutchCalendar for your business: your account, your booking page, the widget and the API. You accept them when you create your business. They do not apply to the customers who book an appointment with you: what you agree with your customers is between you and them.
DutchCalendar is for businesses and self-employed professionals. You use it for your business or profession, not as a consumer.
2. What DutchCalendar does
With DutchCalendar, customers book appointments with you online. You set up appointment types, working hours and your team, and customers book on your booking page, in the widget on your website or through the API. We send the confirmations and reminders, and put the appointments in the calendars you connect.
We keep developing DutchCalendar, so features may change. If we remove something you rely on, we let you know in advance.
3. Price
During the test phase, DutchCalendar is free.
If a price comes, we e-mail you at least 30 days in advance what it costs and from when. You only pay if you then choose to continue. If you don't want to, you delete your account and pay nothing.
4. Your account and your team
- Fill in your details truthfully and keep your password secret.
- You are responsible for what happens with your account, and for the people you invite to your team. Only give someone the role they need.
- If you notice that someone else gets into your account, change your password and e-mail us.
5. What is not allowed
Do not use DutchCalendar:
- for anything against the law, or to harass people;
- to send advertising or other messages to people who did not ask for them;
- to try to get at the data of other businesses, or to test our security without having agreed that with us;
- to load the API so heavily that DutchCalendar becomes slower for others, or to get around the limits;
- to resell DutchCalendar without having agreed that with us.
If that happens anyway, we may block your account. Usually we warn you first; not in case of serious abuse or danger to others.
6. Availability
We do our best to keep DutchCalendar working at all times, but we do not promise that it never stops. We do maintenance in the evening or at night as much as possible, and if it takes longer, we let you know in advance.
We make a backup every day. Your appointments are also in your dashboard and, if you connect a calendar, in your calendar.
7. Data
How we handle your data and that of your team is in our privacy policy.
You are responsible for the data of your customers; we process it on your behalf. That is agreed in the data processing agreement, which is part of these terms.
Only ask customers for what you need for the appointment. Do not ask for special categories of data, such as about someone's health, unless that is needed.
8. Liability
If something goes wrong through a mistake of ours, we are only liable for direct damage. Not for indirect damage, such as lost revenue or an appointment that did not take place.
We pay at most what you paid us in the twelve months before the damage, and during the free test phase at most € 100.
This does not apply if the damage is caused by intent or deliberate recklessness on our part.
9. Stopping
You can stop at any time: delete your account in your dashboard, under Account. That is possible when there are no upcoming appointments left; as an owner with a team, you first hand the business over to a colleague. We then delete your data, as described in the privacy policy. If you want your appointments in a file first, e-mail us and we will send them to you.
We can also end your account, with 30 days' notice, by e-mail. In case of serious abuse (article 5), we may do so right away.
10. If these terms change
We may change these terms. If a change is to your disadvantage, we e-mail it at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree, you can stop before the change takes effect.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you have a complaint, please e-mail us first: we would rather solve it together. If that does not work, the court in the district where we are established decides.
